it means you have infection and need antibiotic that treats gram positive cocci some causes are STD’s im sorry to say, and yes it could hinder your chances to conceive.

“Gram positive” simply means that the bacteria stained a certain color during the test. Gram staining (positive and negative) is used to identify bacteria based on their cell wall structure. This result does not tell you what condition the gram-positive cocci indicates. There are many, many kinds of gram-positive bacteria. This test simply means there is a bacterial presence.
You must discuss the results of this test with your physician; he or she will be able to tell you what condition you may have and how it will be treated. Were you simply handed these results, or were they mailed to you? Most physicians, and labs, do not release test results without explanations of any out-of-range findings.

this test was made last year and she didn’t know anything about the result (the doctor never contacted her to tell her something wrong with the result). Anyway, she called her office last week asking her file to be transfered to another doctor at this time she knew about the result because they sent her entire file.
