    Yeah, Natasha is probably right.

    Sounds like a UTI from Staph (bacteria). Should be easily treatable with antibiotics though.

    UTI’s are more common in women than in men because the urethra of a woman is shorter than that of a man’s. Plus, bacteria is sometimes pushed into the woman’s urethra during sexual intercourse.

    usually staph aureus. Common urinary tract infection and very treatable by antibiotics. so sorry your sick, get well soon and good luck.

    Gram positive cocci refers to bacteria. Cocci refers to the shape of the bacteria – round and gram positive means that they stained the slide they looked at with a special stain called a gram stain (gram positive stains blue, gram neg stains red). Urethral swab means they took a sample from the urethra and this is the sample they put on a slide and stained. This all indicates that you have a urinary tract infection, not something to be too worried about!
